Leaders Have a Due Responsibility

“As a leader within a faith-based organization, I truly feel that I have been ‘called’ to this ministry. Because of that calling, I firmly believe that leaders have a due responsibility to test every decision with which they are confronted against biblical and moral principles. Prayer is an important part of that testing. On the wall in my office hangs a crafted script of Philippians 2:3 – ‘Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself.’ To me, these are words to live by so our decision making is grounded in the proper context within our own souls.”
